If you find that when you first engage gear, either 1st or reverse, and it is tending to 'snick' then I advise you the change the adjustment pawl that in your clutch pedal.

The 'standard' Sierra on is the CPR 4 (Yellow one) this is 45mm from the center of the pivot bar, to the cable groove. By changing to either the CPR 5 (50mm) or the CPR 6 (55mm) it will then pull the cable further for the same amount of pedal movement, thus making the clutch clear properly.

These are around £5 from your local accessory shop. See the Sierra Haynes manual for how to remove the pedal to do the job.
